A manipulated pose reveals the two faces of every situation. The suggestion that we are all possibly manipulated in some way helps to make each decision easier. The salute, an act of admiration for something, is repeated to further identify the idea of manipulation. Again the idea of remaining unaware of one’s surroundings is very evident in this work, eyes closed to the reality and yet an almost strong pose falling flat to the reality.
